Lady Lopes Apply for WWLL Full Membership

The Grand Canyon University Woman’s Lacrosse is back for season Two. The 'Lopes are applying for full membership in the Woman’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II with hopes of playing a full schedule and contending against teams such as UNLV, Cal State Fullerton, UC San Diego, and NAU. They competed in 2014 as a provisional member of the WCLL and played four games. “Last year we built the foundation of this program, this year we start our legacy”, said Coach Whistle. The proposed 2015 schedule would consist of 13 games all over the Southwest, with tournaments in Santa Barbara and Las Vegas. With the help of 12 new Recruits the Lady 'Lopes are looking forward 2015 and beyond .
