GCU Woman’s Lacrosse join WWLL

The Grand Canyon Women’s Lacrosse team was unanimously voted into the Western Woman’s Lacrosse League D2 as a full member at the fall conference meeting. They enter the conference with new members Sierra Nevada and Concordia University. “ We are excited to show the WWLL what Grand Canyon University is all about”. said head coach Trey Whistle.

GCU will play 13 conference games in 4 different cities in the 2015 season as well as traveling to the Santa Barbara Shootout and the Desert Lacrosse Classic in Las Vegas, NV. “ In just one year we have assembled a roster of 32 talented woman who can’t wait to get started.” The Lopes open their season against San Marcos on Saturday Februsary 14, 2015 in Santa Barbara, CA.​
